One Room Challenge - The Reveal!

Well this is exciting! We're starting to see the results of everyone's planning and hard work. This has been a great motivation for me to stick with it and finish this room. There are certainly a number of small projects to tackle down the road, but when I look at how far we've come, I am so happy I joined the challenge!

A painful trip down memory lane...this is Owen's room before:

I didn't stray too far from the original design.

I am in love with this room now. More importantly, he loves hanging out in here too.

That wood wall is just dreamy. It was not an afternoon project, but worth every minute. Confession: I pet the wall. It is so smooth.

I had to leave Cornell up there. It's a nice reminder that I used to be young and smart. :)

Owen's favorite part is the wall storage for his collection of Nerf guns.

Nerf Gun wall storage, chalk board wall,

And he loves that football poster. It is admittedly smaller than what I had in mind, but he isn't complaining.

It is a wonderful thing to have all of these off the floor!

I'm in love with the chair.

The bed was not finished. I just ran out of time and energy. So here it is, mostly painted and hardly styled.

  4. Aww this is such a cute space! I did a pegboard toy thing for my son this round of the ORC too, although his is adorned with swords and light sabers mainly. That wood wall is everything!
