Roundup of Easy Upholstery Projects

I'm back to join my crafty friends for a roundup extravaganza this month! We each chose a favorite category of furniture makeovers or original builds. I decided to tackle small upholstery projects. Having a few of these under my belt,  I find it challenging and rewarding, and very different than the process of painted furniture. Some of my own favorites - click on the image for details.

Upholstery also presents more stress for me because I am not 100% comfortable behind the sewing machine, but I still love a good upholstery project.

Of course, there are levels of difficulty for every creative endeavor. If you're interested in painting, you don't start with the ceiling of an ancient religious chapel. If you want to try upholstery, maybe don't start with an antique channel back sectional. These projects are great starters, and quite simple with the right tools and materials, patience, and the desire to make something beautiful again (and wine).
